Here's a clever -- beautiful, really -- way the Dutch have approached the problem of getting bicyclists safely across busy roadways:
This concept receives the official GreenTech Geek Seal of Approval. Imagine, if you will, a "floating bicycle roundabout" over any (or many!) of San Diego's freeways. Think of the lives that would be saved ... and the smiles generated.
