In his first interview post-cheating scandal and friend-described heartbreak, Robert Pattinson made an appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, who offered him the just-dumped diet food, ice cream. While he was not overly forthcoming regarding the subject of Kristen Stewart cheating on him with her married director, Rupert Sanders, he did not completely dodge the the elephant in the room either, admitting “yes”, when faced with Stewart’s comment, “When you are young and you break up, it's powerful and it feels like the world is ending.”

His concession drew a collective “awwwwww” from the audience. Nothing like being surrounded in love from Team Rob fans. Just one big virtual hug. He also stated that, “My biggest problem is that I don't have a publicist. I'm going to have to hire a publicist.” I’m sure publicists all over the world are now chomping at the bit to get him as a client.
He went on to promote his new movie Cosmopolis, including signing autographs on the red carpet at the Museum of Modern Art, telling fans, “Thank you, guys, for being here.”
It’s all about safety in numbers Rob, and I’m sure there are plenty of fans willing to step up for you and your broken heart.
