Bonus Coverage!
Missed out on our Comic-Con 2011 coverage? Here's all the panel transcripts from our live blogging at last year's Con:
- Supernatural Causes Fits in Hall H at Comic-Con. The Winchester brothers were in full charming mode, as was the rest of the cast and crew.
- Glee Panel Hits High Notes at Comic-Con. B-listers abounded and nary a Ryan Murphy in sight, but fans couldn't be happier to see McKinley high represented.
- The Vampire Diaries Takes a Bite out of Comic-Con. Ian Somerhalder smoldered and Nina Dobrev smiled her way through a fun, fan friendly romp through Stars Hollow...er, I mean Mystic Falls.
- Chuck Panel Rocks Comic-Con. Even we got teared up when Zachary Levi walked out on stage for the final time as Chuck, as the show's last season starts soon.
- True Blood Drains Ballroom 20 at Comic-Con. At 5:45 a.m. folks lined up outside Ballroom 20. Was it for Big Bang Theory? Walking Dead? Mayhaps, but our money's on True Blood.
- Big Bang Theory Blows Up at Comic-Con. Cast Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, and Executive Producer Bill Prady didn't fail to delight fans.
- Zombietastic Walking Dead Panel. AMC shows a KILLER season 2 trailer, with the tagline: "A slim chance is better than none." Trust me, they are not messing around with this -- it's on like Donkey Kong!
- Torchwood: Miracle Day Panel. John Barrowman mesmerized the crowd, with ditties such as this response when the moderator asked him his favorite Con purchase, "Captain America action figure. And the McDonald's superhero cups. Scott's going to look at these and say WTF?! Honey, do you want your cocktail out of Superman or Batman tonight? Or are you feeling Wonder Woman?"
- Day 1 Photo Wrap Up. Slave Leia cellulite and TwiHards abound!
- True Blood Meets Lost at TV Guide Fan Favorites panel. Fan Favorites, featuring Nestor Carbonell (Richard from "Lost"), Jorge Garcia (Hurley from Lost), Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette on True Blood), Kristin Bauer (True Blood), Matt Smith (Dr. Who), Johnny Galecki (Big Bang Theory), Zachary Levi (Chuck), Julie Plec (Vampire Diaries), and Kevin Williamson (creator of Dawson's Creek, Scream, and Vampire Diaries).
- Game of Thrones Panel is Cougar Central. The title pretty much says it all.
- Sarah Michelle Gellar Returns to Comic-Con to Chat Ringer. As if on cue, the well-trained cast of Ringer gave SMG a standing ovation.
- Twilight Panel Charms with Stewart, Pattinson, and Lautner. You know those folks who camped out for 4 days to get into Hall H for this panel? Um...yeah, folks walked right in 10 minutes before it started and found ample seating. Our theory is the hype around the campers scared off walk-ins.
- Comic-Con: The Comics Wrap Up. Remember the original thing people used to go to Comic-Con for? Yeah, the comics. We dish on them in this column.
