11:26 a.m. Sans intros the cast and crew: EP Jeremy Carver, Mark Sheppard, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Jim Beaver, Ben Edlund.
11:27 a.m. Sans: "What's it like being back in Supernatural world?" Carver: "It's like being a camper and coming back as a counselor."
11:28 a.m. Sans: "How will he get out of purgatory?" Padalecki: "He gets out. How he gets out is too much of a teaser." Edlund: "Dean's plight is terrible. We think he's coming back on the show. His return from purgatory is going to happen quite quickly. The story of purgatory is something we're going to track for a long time."
11:30 a.m. Lights come up to show stars who massive Hall H is and they banter about it.
11:31 a.m. Sans: "Is Dean getting any romance this season?" Ackles: "I think the only real romance in Dean's life is the car."
11:32 a.m. Carver: "The strength of the show is the bond between the two brothers. At the core, their humanity. The beginning of this season we're going to see how being separated had a profound effect on each of them. The more than a summer apart will have a big affect, as will the relationships they formed while apart." Edlund: "We get play with more complex and real human relationships." Padalecki: "Sam and Dean and real human relationships. Good luck with that guys."
11:35 a.m. Collins: "(Castiel) went out for a beer, and he'll be back shortly. You ask questions we can't answer, so we all just stare here at you for 45 minutes and no one leaves satisfied."
11:36 a.m. Sans: "Can we read anything into the fact that you're here, Jim?" Beaver: "Read into it what you want." Ackles: "Can someone get Jim a Supernatural hat?" (He's wearing a Deadwood hat.) Beaver: "Anything's possible, which I've said about a million times this weekend."
11:38 a.m. Sheppard: "Crowley is essentially happens when people aren't paying attention."
11:40 a.m. Sans: "One of the themes for this season is Raiders of the Lost Ark." Carver: "In seasons past, the boys have been reacting to things. They're starting this season on offense. It ties in with the mythology of the show. Notwithstanding the luggage they bring from their time apart, they're uniting for this one thing." Edlund: "We've got a roller coaster this season."
They open it up for fan questions.
11:44 p.m. Fan: "Are you ever going to address the fact that the brothers look nothing alike?" Laughter. Ackles: "If I grew my hair long, we'd look alike. But you're left with this, I apologize."
11:45 a.m. Fan: "In the event of an apocalypse, who would die first?" Padalecki: "It's like that game..." Ackles: "It's like Jerry Springer now. Would anybody like to take that?" Padadecki: "We've already have several apocalypi?" Collins: "Jim would die first." Beaver: "That's why I'm wearing the red shirt."
11:47 a.m. Fan: "Jensen, you're the reason I'm pursuing acting." Sheppard: "They're thinking, well if he can do it." Fan: "Superhero name?" Ackles: "Captain Underpants." Collins: "I'd be Ass Butt But."
11:49 a.m. Fan: "What you learned from directing?" Ackles: "Directing the first time was trial and error. The pace of a scene is very important. Understanding lenses and what they do, and how they direct focus. I'm directing my third one right now. I'm trying to cut as much of (Padalecki's) stuff as I can right now." (Padalecki is feigning sleep.) Edlund: "It's a tough thing." Ackles: "It's scary when you get to a set and you have 60-70 people staring at you and saying, 'Now what?'"
11:52 a.m. Ackles (about his ep he's directing): "It's a one off. It's a good one. It's pretty bloody."
11:53 a.m. Fan: "Is there a characteristic that has not been addressed you'd like to see brought to the foregound?" Beaver: "I'd like to finish up with Sheriff Rhodes." Padalecki: "I'd like to go back to normal, sitting on a barstool Sam." Collins: "The character's been through so much." Sheppard: "We need to explore my loveliness."
11:56 a.m. Fan: "How would you end it?" Ackles: "I was always envious of when Sam drank the demon blood and had the mind power. I remember reading the scripts and want a superpower."
11:58 a.m. Ackles: "We haven't seen much of this season's storyline, but it'll be shown in flashbacks."
12:00 p.m. Edlund: "You go into purgatory, and it affects the future in all kinds of ways." Carver: "Purgatory makes strange bedfellows."
12:02 p.m. Ackles: "See what happens when we bring you on the show? You have to be here (at Comic-Con)." Beaver: "Last night, I ran into Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who said he was going to sneak in here and ask a question, but he had to catch a plane."
12:04 p.m. Fan: "What do you guys think of the Destiel relationship?" Ackles: "That's some weird shit." Beaver: "It's sort of extreme bromance." Collins: "You've got pictures of us embracing up in your bedroom, right?"
12:06 p.m. Padalecki: "We've been mostly tied up lately (on set). When two bad guys really like each other..."
12:08 p.m. Ackes: "When your wardrobe shows up and it's got plumbing...it's going to be a bad day."
12:09 p.m. Fan: "Will season 8 focus on mythology? Will we finally be introduced to God?" Carver: "Did you just throw it to me, Ben?" Edlund: "It's contentious on this end of the table." Carver: "After 7 seasons, there's a crushing amount of mythology. There will be one overarching mythology."
