Another Celeb break-up
I’ve been in back-to-back meetings today, away from my computer and my iPhone. Just as I was starting to have the shakes from communication super-highway withdrawals, I got a break and there on my phone was a text from our very own CaliforniaKara that simply stated “TomKat DONE”.
As much as I dislike seeing a marriage fail, especially when there are children, I cannot say I am surprised that Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise have split after only five years of marriage. First, there is their age difference (16 years), second, this is his third marriage, and third, he’s gnikcuf crazy. Oh, and all that pesky Scientology stuff…

Reports are stating that Katie is the one who filed for divorce and that Tom is “deeply saddened”. She is also asking for “primary residential custody” of their daughter Suri (6) and is seeking “a suitable amount of child support”.
According to TMZ, Scientology is the wedge between the couple. Katie, allegedly, doesn’t want her daughter dragged deeper into Scientology nor does she “want Tom to control decisions relating to religion” in regards to their daughter.
But so far, this split appears fairly amicable. Stay tuned, if there is dirt to be shared or more to the story, TWL will spill it.

Adele announced the news herself, in the form of a post on her website, “I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx”
In other celebrity baby news, Molly Simms and husband had their baby boy, Brooks Alan. And model Marissa Miller is pregnant with her first child.
